  1. Hi guys i got a quote from Nelson Bays Motor Group for a cambelt replacement on my V7 STI (only Subaru dealer in Nelson) - of $1546.85 this is including all parts and labour - is this about right?

  8. Did you get fuel surge at half a tank though? - if it only surged on a quarter and under i could live with that - but half a tank is just pathetic plus the DW in your pic looks way bigger than the sock on mine

Okay so I pulled it out again - and studied it more closely and found that it is actually a Walbro GSS342 pump and looking at stock pumps the sock looks far to small - oh and that hole in the sock was me when i pulled it out lol So im guessing i need to get a factory filter/sock - this looks about right? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/other/auction-1190665099.htm or can anyone else suggest anything?   10. It occurs when right hand corners are taken and half a tank of fuel it will do it and less

Hi guys I'm after a direct replacement for my factory struts for my V7 STI, it seems everyone does a replacement for the WRX but excludes the STI? one of my fronts is knocking - any ideas which shock to get - have been told the WRX replacement by KYB will fit but its not quite the same as the sti Struts - if im right I believe the STI struts are inverted? Cheers

  17. Okay so not grannying around - taking a roundabout at normal speed and pinning it on exit - but this only happens on right hand turns
  18. nope not driving it hard at all its a known issue - do some research and you will see
  19. Very interesting thanks yes - my pump is completely stock - I thought that the factory sock was pretty small? - what pump and filter would you recommend?
