  1. Thank you @gotasuby, The throttle relearn completely rectified the idle issues
  2. Thanks guys,I am going to try a throttle relearn first. I am also going to look into getting a VAGCOM and downloading a FreeSSM just so I can see what is happening.Any suggestions on VAGCOM or FreeSSM to use? Throttle Relearn Procedure (Courtesy of ADIKT from another thread) http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php/topic/128159-how-to-idle-re-learn-after-battery-disconnect/
  3. It is in a BP wagon. I thought it might be electronically controlled. Pretty easy to do with the VAGCOM?
  4. Hey guys,I am wondering if there is an idle control valve on an EJ20X like on the older model EJs (like my EJ20R). If not, is there a way to raise the idle slightly to avoid a vibration at low revs. The EJ20X in question does have an electronic throttle body and 5-speed auto if that helps at all. Thanks in advance
  5. The GT wagon I drove was an automatic which, according to the brochure above, is down on power by 15kW. Plus there would be more loss through the drive-train in the automatic. Time to test drive a manual BL GT sedan me thinks.
  6. Love this thread. I have been tossing up between a 3.0R and a GT 2.0T BL sedan. I have driven a GT BP wagon and found the twin scroll turbo to be a little too short compared to my RS BD sedan. This thread has certainly got me thinking of buying the GT and doing some mild mods to bring it up to what I want. Nothing like the smile a turbo puts on your face
