  1. Hi all, Successfully put in my sub last weekend and it’s been sliding around all week.. oops. The subs dimensions are roughly: 40cmH x 40cmW x 50cmD. It’s 30-35kg so I think bungee cords won’t do. I want it so sit on the left at the back preferably. has anyone done anything similar or know if there any areas in the boot that I should avoid drilling in too? Any tips/discussion appreciated. cheers.
  2. Thanks for the quick response! Making my Saturday project much less frustrating 😁
  3. @JGM I have got my wire running from battery to fender and have found the grometyou are talking about. Is it ok to cut in to this and put my 4GA wire through? It definitely won’t fit in with the other wires going through. I’ve tried poking a hole with a screw driver but it’s a very resistant rubber and maybe it’s like that for a reason. I could put a Sealant around the wire once it’s in place..? I am at a stand still
  4. I know I’m grave digging, but a solution for anyone else having this issue: buy some sort of foam tape, just needs to be a few mm thick. Take the door trim off and look for a few spots around the speaker where the rattle might be caused, it will probably be where the speaker grille/surround comes within a few mm of the speaker/door. Put some of the foam tape on these spots. Avoid any of the speaker. Put the panel back and blast your sound, if it’s not fixed try again with another layer of foam tape as it may not be bridging the gap. this should apply to any sound deadening you want to do.
  5. Cheers JGM. I pushed a bit harder with some PLASTIC removal tools.. turns out the metal ones repco sold me are terrible 🤔 hahaha I’ll have to do that Joker. Now to get to through the firewall and run everything thru. 😎
  6. Hi All, I bought my 2006 3.0R Legacy BL a few weeks ago and I’m in the process of upgrading the sound system. I’ve replaced the Carrozeria unit with a Headunit and now I’m trying to wire RCA, remote & power to the boot. A bit of a noob topic but I’m having trouble removing the trim at the bottom of the door frame (so that I can get the wire under the carpet). I’ve read on these forums that there are 4 clips holding down the front door’s trim and I have located them but when I apply force with panel removal tools, it lifts slightly (10mm?) but does not unclip and the plastic starts to flex, to a point where it may be deformed if I push harder. I haven’t experienced this before but it may be as my previous cars have been made pre-2000 so the panels are tighter. Please let me know if you have any suggestions/specific ways to lift the trim. Or if there’s a specific thread for wiring to the boot that I’ve missed let me know 😅 Cheers in advance. Alec.
  7. Hiya, would anyone in/near Wellington have a spare passenger floor mat for a 2006 Legacy b4? I’ve looked at a few aftermarket options but I’d like to find an original. Cheers!

I have an original front floor mat set for a BE/BH Legacy. I bought the whole set just to get the back one.

I'd imagine they'd be a close fit. DM me if you're interested
