  1. well i may have to set a few weekends a side to do this , and i have a single turbo ecu but i think i may have to change the cam and crank pick up trigger wheels as i am sure they are different in the single turbo engines as when i have swapped these engine in the past i have come across this issue i will keep my BH5 twin as it goes very good after reducing the vod to 200 RPM but the bg5 can go single turbo
  2. Just wondering can a single turbo setup work with a twin turbo ecu ? i am wondering if anyone has done this ? i understand that the bbod would still have to be plugged in but not use to to control boost control , i am happy with the rev D setup and i have a rev B bh5 which i may just single turbo , just wondering if anyone has done this ?
  3. I have a bh5 subaru legacy MY2000 revB , i had some issues with the secondary turbo boosting , it used to get up and take off but after fixing a unmetered air leak before the primary turbo it seems to be a but flat , i have checked for any vacuum leaks with brake clean and in diagnostic mode i sprayed around secondary componets and no change in idle , i understand that under boost there will be more chance of air escaping but , i use the scan tool at work thats for hyundai on OB2 funtion and on secondary its giving a reading of 127 kpa on the map sensor , and i noticed that the IACV in diagnotic mode moves erratic and i tested the earth output with the bbod disconnected and it had no earth output from the ECU as the bbod is earth switched from my findings and normally is from most manufactures , anyway with the bbod plugged in the IACV solienoid clicks away getting a earth so i am unsure where this is coming from and also i have a BG5 and tested that and does the same thing has anyone else come across this ? i dont throw parts at cars i want to test things before replacing that was how i was trained
