  1. Hi all, Recently bought an '02 Lancaster EZ30D for cheap, partially because of a slight radiator leak and RCG leak. I aim to replace the radiator as a headgasket failure prevention mechanism for summer/towing/inevitable city driving in Wellington. Coolant temp stays fine on the open road, even in 26+ degrees however once it gets above usual running temp (just below halfway) it is very hard to bring back down and very prone to increasing towards the 'wincing' area of the gauge. Hoping this is happening because of both an old, inefficient radiator and a persistent leak, meaning the coolant system contents are probably a good deal water at this point, so not the best for keeping the boat cool. I will look for a second hand (non-leaking) OEM radiator or grab this one off TradeMe: https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/radiators/listing/3375109974?bof=mqz1V7S1 Any input in terms of suggestions for new radiator, coolant choices, tips for replacing/bleeding the system are much appreciated. Especially any input re the above linked unit. Cheers.
  2. Yours must be a one-off or have some wear. Otherwise all EZ30's would be prone to that and they've got a good rep as a reliable engine
  3. In the market for an EZ30 Lancaster/outback although a lot of owners seem to use 91 regularly. My understanding was always that Subarus need 95 or 98 (especially turbo models). Is an EZ30 that's had 91 used in it regularly be a deciding factor as to whether I consider buying the car or not? Cheers and TIA.
  4. Father's pride and joy. Would love to get it back. Probably unlikely at this point but worth a shot
  5. This was stolen a few years back, but thought it might still be worth putting out there. Immaculate 94' silver legacy wagon, Completely stock visually with the only 'modification' being a slightly less restrictive exhaust with a nice rumble. No towbar, not a GTB. Plates are XP7297. Cash reward will be offered by myself. Stolen from the Botanic Gardens in Wellington. Cheers
