  1. Keep in mind the rego is based off year of first registration anywhere in the world, not when it was made. If it sat on a dealers lot for a year, it could be an early 2002 build, registered here as a 2003, for example.
  2. it occurs to me that looking at photos of mine, i dont know where the antenna is on one! is it in the rear glass?
  3. Looks right from when I did it on mine, although on mine it made little to no difference (was an S401, but basically a Rev D) https://www.tasteslikepetrol.net/2017/01/s401-hose-10-mod/
  4. I miss the pops and crackles my old GC8 Type R made going down the gorge in the mornings, lol.
  5. Whats a manual conversion like on a BE? Would think it'd be easier to start with a manual one. Technically a single turbo conversion needs a cert too, which adds some cost and complexity.
  6. 99.9% car stuff, dont care about food or naked people. Most of it is S*** i do to my cars, sometimes other random things too. Its also the IG for my website.
  7. S401 has little monsoons like that too, and they are so utterly useless, lol. The legacy windows must close higher up, because by the time you have the window open enough there is a gap, its well out of the protection of the monsoons.
  8. I do a few 60-5kph heavy stops, with a little time between each to cool down. Gets them pretty hot and smelly, but yet to have a set that havent bedded in well. Doing a couple of these is also good for stopping the Brembos squealing. It was a tech at work that advised i use this technique, as its what they use on all the brakes they do.
  9. It made no difference at all on my Rev D, so i reverted back to standard. I wouldnt bother doing it TBH.
  10. Its the only thing the S401 is lacking.... a long roof. Someone buy mine and make a BH S401.
  11. What, the box that although 90% is empty you still need to keep in the car for the sockets? Nice wheel nuts though, i wanted a set for the S401 until i saw the price.

  13. Trick is to dilute it, or use a better spray bottle. I use dragons breath and its good stuff.
  14. I have often seen those weird powerbuilt sockets and wondered if they actually worked. I love my rattlegun and 6 sided impact sockets for suspension work. Depending on how much access you have to the stripped nut, i would try a few things myself. Hammering on a smaller socket, a hammer and chisel to try and turn it (or cut it off), or just plain old cutting it off with a death wheel or dremel. I see a few of these around too and also wondered if they work for cutting off rounded nuts. Havent really needed one so far. You can get these from bunnings too, seem to be rated fairly highly (although once again havent had a need for them myself). They use a reverse spiral so they get tighter as you try and loosen them.
