  1. Neither a WRC or Group A spec Subaru runs anything close to the factory spec setup. The latest Group N offering from Prodrive runs an unmodified engine.
  2. soopersubaru Sticking your foot in your mouth is one thing, but actually throat jobbing yourself with it is another matter. As I said in response to your cranky PM, cut and paste your ad and try again. If that doesn't suit then take your wares somewhere else.
  3. Pelvin. Your profile pic is driving me mad. Please remove immediately
  4. Is that the one your son made? I'm talking about after the plastic pipe, the actual alloy hard pipe.
  5. Who knows how long the pump will run for, I have one reconditioned to replace when the fitted one runs out. MRT used to offer a double core heat exchanger and high flow pump. You can also wire the pump to run on High constantly as it has a HI/LO speed setting that is triggered by 5 seconds of WOT. I will be modifying the setup in the future but concentrating on the alloy cast pipe from the Turbo to the cooler. On an untouched setup I would not push more than 1 bar with a TD05.
  6. I'm sure Prodrive wouldn't agree with your skirting either Koom No spoiler looks best without the rest of the kit. I've been looking for a nice rear trunk without a spoiler to swap my garnish onto for awhile.

    Possum Link

A 4 plug Possum link will not fit your 3 plug V4 setup. Others can comment on Possum link vs latest gear, besides you get what you pay for. Anti lag features are nothing new, why would you want to run this on the street?
  8. Why recommend a low viscosity and then the other extreme? I run 5w40 in my "Forged block"
  9. San has been mucking around with Subaru's for ages. And he doesn't appear to have aged.
  10. Part one and two. http://autospeed.com/cms/A_1618/article.html http://autospeed.com/cms/A_1619/article.html
  11. Pappu now that you've got all that shit out out of your system, go weigh yourself. Everybody else use the search, this has been covered way back. Are you all referring to Gen 1 WAIC vs TMIC/FMIC? or aftermarket? GEN 1 WAIC will never manage anywhere near those numbers without extensive modifications to flow and heat exchanger size. It might net a decent peak figure on the fucking dyno, but subsequent runs will show a lesser number. I had a friend who fitted a VF22 to a stock RS (WAIC) and pumped 20+psi through it, we tapped a temp sensor into the WAIC tank, a few pulls and temperatures soared. The water would eventually boil.
  12. I'm 90% sure that there will be no difference. Take a trip to pick a part.
  13. Anything that will fit under GC8 guards will fit under BC/BF before going to wider guards.
  14. Because it's all about the Turbo itself and not the supporting modification. Hardly a decent comparison.
  15. Blake7; Didn't you used to own a Gen 1 Legacy?
  16. One of the best from Rocky Auto. Perhaps a bit hard tuned, RB26 T04Z for 600hp, and weighing near 1000kgs.
  17. DRFVDR That is a fantastic example, any more shots?
  18. You've made a lot of broad claims without any proof. Such as the only advantage to unequal length is the note. I've seen varying results from OE headers in various states of modification.
  19. That's about as far as I would go for a factory 5MT. I had one in my previous Subaru, Quite a severe clamp. I'd rather protect the transmission. Although I fitted an OE exedy this time round that had the cover had been modified by Autoclutch.
  20. Exedy is factory fitted. I see you already have, but spend a bit on TM. I found one for $200.
