Yeah most cars go and launch faster with the hand brake on......................OMG!!! I\'ll have to pull on the hand brake next time a wanna pass another car..........
On this era there is a 1/8th bsp plug for this purpose in the manifold instead of cutting into a hose and disturbing another component , my gauge came with the fitting that screws into it, and thiS is true manifold pressure as its straight into the manifold not in line with something else.
It\'s near the turbo on the leg of the manifold closest to the turbo and it has a small male square drive, can be quite tight.
i got my bov on the hot side of the intercooler, thus obviously dumping hot air , as aposed to dumping cooled air and having hot air rushing into the intercooler heating it up minutely when it opens. i know the difference in temperature is bugger all but thats my theory.
yeah aye , something not right with that evo , dident run right aye. got second for my class on the day and second for the season so pretty happy with that
im pretty sure i got a book here somewhere that shows how to work out what those numbers mean stamped onto the block , gives ya bore sizes and clearances ect ect but they will be all different now if its been rebuilt. ill look into it
i run my 89 rs on avgas for drags, has lead tolerate o2 sensor for tuning only, link computer.
oh and its got 192,000km on the clock , still going strong on original engine , never been opened .
