  1. Oh yeah will keep that in mind bro, cars on internal with spring pre set at 11 psi is what invoice frim Steve Murch states. Keen to keep a flat power level higher in the rev range what do you suggest?
  2. Oh yeah sounds fair, I will follow your trials with interest
  3. 240kw atw... but I'm more interested in keeping the power all the way to redline, I dislike how at 6300rpm with my VF36/30 cross breed mongrel the car feels like it is slowing down... Using my car for daily driving and the odd track day. When funds permit I want to buy a single turbo legacy for work and turn the Impreza in to a caged track weapon
  4. Yo San did driven performance ever get back to you about those Kinugawa turbos? I want to know what a good upgrade for better top end power on my v7 STI would be and they look reasonably priced, what do you reckon about a td06 20G? Would factory pinks with a walbro handle that turbo or need decapped?
  5. I'm going to Taupo this weekend otherwise would have come and shown you the new car San. Hit me up next time your coming up
  6. Internal gates are fine, stop trying to cause an argument
  7. Just Rust in Tawa are open Sat Mornings I think...
  8. 29kw of which are in your head but yes seriously fun to use and does usually result in much better idle and throttle response
  9. o2 sensor re: sparkplugs, get your small asian girlfriend with dainty fingers to change them
  10. haha I'd go with roof. NZTA would be who you complain to but on second thoughts any complaint procedure would probably take about 6 months with their processing times so not really worth it...
  11. take photo's and lodge a formal complaint, STMS regulations are ridiculously harsh and you should be able to get some form of action due to their incompetence...
  12. $22/tire up here in Auckland on average or $18/tire at Grey Lynn tire worx
  13. 4 new tyres woohoo! Care of TYRE CITY, best service EVER! and a can of upper engine cleaner

it cycles through the fault codes, you should be able to tell by the delay in flash when it is switching between codes (if it is throwing multiple codes that is)
  15. as per OP Steve I have listed the modifications I am planning, perhaps the title is misleading and should have read "How much power from this set up"

I was asking for my own vehicles benefit that's why I apologized for the thread hijack. Don't know when they were done or whats in there but last owner was fastidious so I imagine will be platinum or iridium. Will pull them out today and have a look-see, what would be the things to look for to know what condition they are?

sorry to hijack the thread but how do you know if your spark plugs need replacing if you don't know when they were last done?
  21. So AL whats the best thing to keep knock at bay so you can try and get some more power, FMIC?
