  1. sweet, have checked there is plenty of clearance, the trailer was originally built with the option for disk brakes designed in so I need coupler, hubs, brakes, disks...
  2. Am looking for info on how to convert my nkn braked trailer into a braked trailer. i know I need new hubs, hitch etc, but looking for a cheap way of doing it.
  3. Back in the day with new Bridgestone 215/45/17\'s was a shade round $2K, they can be had for far less these days 2nd hand...

  6. Kit does all the cylinder\'s seals I believe, I never bothered and just bought a new one.
  7. Finally took a picture of the panel I made Eat your hart out for those $200 piece of plates...
  8. Yes they are available, but it comes as part of a kit with all ghe other seals... new ones are circa $250+gst, reconditioned circa $200+gst,the seal kit I think is about $160+gst...
  9. Well it depends on the situation you see... If you drive around at say 10km/h with your foot on the brake then the disks will wear out, Now, IF, you were on the other hand doing say 100km/h and went to brake and had no brake pads left and crashed then the car would be wrecked, and maybe you too... Just saying
  10. Yup http://www.caranddriver.com/features/2011-subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-sets-nrburgring-lap-record
  11. When people reply to posts like he has below I think the response he got is quite moderated... [quote name='needparts said: have captain sarcastic cheers for the input tho !
  12. Did ours a little while ago, get the upholstery kit as well and she\'ll come out mint, it even got a full-600ml-coke-bottle-stain-tha-is-6-years-old from the carpet...
  13. Most probably it si the AFM having karked it, check codes 1st as said Short version you are probably in limp mode now
  14. Got more pics? Where did you get the 27 from? When you say you undid the cir-clip: I take it to mean you dissembled the turbo and put the 27 bits in place of the factory 25/26?? Not sure I follow here very well... Looks like a fun thing to do...
  15. Can be adjusted from memory... Have a gander underneath by the pedals - contortion time
  16. Not Smith & Smith apparently: https://www.facebook.com/FairGoNZ?hc_location=stream
  17. I have not had any issues with a factory clutch so would recommend that, Exedy is another brand (the factory ones are Exedy iirc)
  18. Get some planks, place them in front of the ramps so you drive onto them 1st then the ramps... Did this at my old store so often it wasn\'t funny
  19. Oh yea thats another thing he wae\'ed on about, was my habit of downshfting and using the handbrake at traffic lights/intersections, I got taught nearly 25 year ago, you stop, you apply handbrake - period... Anyway, I well remember driving landrovers & Mogs offroad and using gearing to keep control and help slow it down...
  20. Hahahaha 10 & 2 Nah he has a colleuge that blah blah\'s on about that apparently... I am one of those 1 handed drivers (and thumb out of steering wheel - Landrover driving habits die hard)
  21. Sweet Went and [pretty much as you said. They looked for smooth safe driving, his particular bugbear seemed to be hands on the steering wheel and not down-shifting when decelerating... I did reasonably well, only them fooking hands aye...
  22. So tomorrow I am off to do a pre-employment Work place driver assessment. Any one know what is involved with these?
