  1. hi I replaced a rear wheel bearing about a year ago, cost me just under $300 for the whole unit at Wingers part dept and I installed it myself, took a coupla hours .its not too difficult to do if you Have the right tools! and it saves some money too
  2. clubsub to the rescue again! ive got exactly the same problem with my forester today. cleaned it up yesterday and left it overnight, result... oil spot on the drive so will source new gaskets this week to fix the problem. it looks alittle fiddly but nothing a bit of care and patience cant fix!

    sunroof.

hi i got a sun roof on my fozzie and there is little road noise other than stone chip roar .that said i hardly open it as it has an effective wind break on it so there is liitle extra air flow into the cabin so i prefer to use the air-con! i wouldn't miss it if my next car didnt have it
  4. sorry to read about your problem. same thing happened to me on the way to work last week. i managed to source a second-hand fuelpump from strong brothers subaru wreckers in onehunga cost me about $170 incl g.s.t with six month warranty this was for the complete unit and it just dropped in place of the old one! took about an hour doin'it myself.repco charges $235. form just the pump unit. of course theirs are new so that may be a factor .
  5. thanks for the quick response to my questions zarnah will check it out tomorrow (car is stranded at work!)
