My friend and I put a v6 speedo cluster into his v3 RA, we fitted a Motec ecu and fitted a v6 based engine at the same time so no sensor issues I used the v6 clock loom and spliced this into the v3 loom, (also needed was an electric speedo drive from a later car) everything works as it should do, even the fuel gauge, which I thought we may have issues with. The hardest bit of the job was to physically fit the v6 clocks into the v3 dash as the surrounds “curve” in opposite directions fortunately this job went to my friend and I got to do the wiring ;D Edited to say I couldnt find a correct diagram for the v3 dash so ended up examining and "buzzing out" the clocks and making my own

I tried F1's when my original set of Bridgestone 070's wore out The F1's work better in damp conditions. However as has already been mentioned the sidewalls are way too soft resulting poor steering feedback (I love the feel of the 070's) and terrible front outer edge wear (even with another 7-10psi) The dry grip is poor compared to 070's. When I got my F1's people on the forums in England were saying how great they were (which is why I tried them) I was hugely disappointed, I now put up with the rather limited damp road grip afforded by 070's

Thanks As you say the cabin fuse must be supplying low current to operate the relay, and the engine bay fuse provides high current power, I suspect that the coil is connected to pins 1&3 and the contact to pins 2&4. If you can see whether pin 1 on the relay connector (possibly white/black) is connected to either the relay coil or the relay contact I would be sorted, it may be that they used a thinner wire for the control and a thicker wire for the power so the wire on pin 1 may be thinner than the wire on pin 2 Many thanks Regards Paul

Thanks I did that I have this http://www.type-ra.co.uk/images/tech_images/DCCD%20Wiring%20Diagram.jpg But doesnt help with the relay, I worked out the pin connections on the circuit board and made a loom As a last resort (got a couple of weeks) I will have another look at the circuit board and connect the thin tracks to the coils and the thicker tracks to the contacts

Does anyone have a wiring diagram which shows relay contacts for a 99 dccd I am heklping a freind put a dccd box into his car I have it sorted apart from the relay wiring Thanks in advance
