That is a weapon, it was the honda I was setting up my wrx to beat... When he overtook me on the outside of the hairpin, it made me gone kung fu hardcore mod wise haha and actually learn how to setup a car properly.

This is the car you should be aiming to beat.......

The Link GTR holds class lap records, for every track it has competed, to date

Spec C, you need to look up the spring rates of your coilovers. I'm running 6kgmm front and 4kgmm back, and with the dampers on softest that's the limit of what I'll tolerate in a daily driver. Turning the dampers down won't affect your spring rate. The other alternative is that your car has been lowered so much that you're hitting the bumpstops on some road features. Can't tell without a picture of your car.

The suggestion that you return your car to OEM suspension isn't a bad suggestion at all, since you obviously drive on the road a hell of a lot more than on the track. Yeah, you'll lose some handling (I noticed a big difference going from OEM to my Zerosports), but your car has a pretty good factory setup anyway. Get a proper alignment done (say, 2 degrees of negative camber, zero toe all around), throw on some really good tires (eg. Bridgestone RE11) and you'll have really great handling while still having a decent ride.

its fine when its nice smooth roads but just your usaully roads its okay , but then when its really shit raods with corners its anyoing , find it dangerous at some points

Sell your cheapass Teins and put some real suspension in there i.e. Proflex, Exe-tc or something like that. The good stuff makes potholed gravel roads feel like smooth ashphalt.

I resent that comment.

just change the spring rate, so its sloppy like a 84 leone wagon, take your swaybars off and let your tyres down

:) Most expensive Tein's I saw doing a 30 sec google were about $6k. Proflex will set you back 3 to 4 times that much and are worth it. Plus you get an experienced ex-Prodrive technician who turns up to your workshop to fit them and help set them up for that price ;D

Although they're more WRC spec than JDM........

I like my rock solid Teins but they will never compare to real adjustable dampers.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
