Wrx Seats installed in 1997 Gtb

Hey guys i brought some wrx seats a week ago and im trying to install them in my legacy but there is one problem!

I cant make my seat belt click into place lol so my legacy seat belt wont fit in the wrx seats. :-\

Is there a way to over come this problem?

Unbolt the latch off your legacy seat and change it with the WRX one

would such a seat installation require a cert?

nope - OEM part bolt in and re-using OEM bolt holes/rails, no modifications needed to mounts/structure

you can Bolt a full Carbon Fiber race seat in as long as it truly BOLTS in without modification...

Hey palwow,

What height difference did you have with putting those seats in? When i put my V8 Sti seats in im now sitting about 1 1/2" higher than what i was in my standard gtb seats.

my V3's put me a little lowere AND a WRX is narrower so you end up closer to the doors!

see how wrong I am, you end up closer to the centre console not the doors....

Anyone swaped all seats? like including rears? i was wondering if they would bolt in?

The wrx seats are better than standard more confrontable.. and a lil bit higher.. i have installed it and drove up and down my street but i had to take the seats off because my seat belt would click into place.. i tryed unbloting the latch but my bolts are stubborn and it wont come off :-\ lol mite have to take it in to the mechanic to get rid of all the bolts.. such a hassle!!!!!!
