1991 Legacy BC7 LF wheelbearing/hub.

Ive got a 91 legacy bc7 2.2 GX. My left front wheelbearing is stuffed. Ive been told its easier to replace the whole hub rather than just the bearing itself. But my main concern is, would I be able to use a LF hub from another year eg: 89 to 93? I gave the guys from SubEuro a ring and they said that I can only use a hub from my model (BC7) ???. But I can't really see the difference using one from another year between 89 and 93.

Yup i am with BC5RA,any hub of a similiar era should fit

I my self would replace the bearing,but then I am a Mechanic they are not that hard to do and then you know u have a new bearing and not one that has done who know how many miles

Yeah thanks guys. I got the hub from SubEuro parts the other day and they guy said that it shouldnt matter, but they had a BC7 in there anyway, so i got that one. Appreciate the replies.

Yeah thats right, i wouldve just replaced the bearing but since it is sorta my first time working on the axle parts, i thought it would be good if i explored around and see how everything works, and another reason is cause its a bit easier too! ;D
