STi one I reckon should use a bored 2.2 block with 2L heads for higher compo = faster ya reckon subaru would do something like that for power gains on an N/A?

Although there is: subaru I believe want to keep the BRZ N/A.

Space isn't a problem, I can't imagine why no turbo? No doubt some aftermarket turbo kits will show up soon if they aren't already available.

For those of your that are wondering - this car is configured in a way that I would feel 100% comfortable delivering to a customer. We all want this car to go fast, but what's most important is testing out this package in the way a customer would want it.

If you want the BRZ-400 package, and have e85 local - this is the way you could drive it every single day.

Regular Pumpgas won't be as impressive, but a simple meth injection kit can bring the performance very close to this e85 configuration.

Road course car need not to worry.

I've been testing a very similar setup and it's been taking very abusive 20-30 minute track sessions.

this is true but you show me ANY other OEM NA motor you can triple the output and not kill and I'll start believing the hype /they might have just built them with turbo's in mind and are waiting for someone to tear it down and say : omgwtf eagle rods?

Had a look a an 86 in the flesh today at Cookies Toyota here in Dunners. It's a red, auto version and the car certainly looks better in the flesh. That said, it does have a really cheap feel to it, not premium by a long way. Apparently 4 have been sold in Dunedin already.

I walked past the guy who drives the orange 86 all around North east valley today it was parked by the gardens new world. you're right about the not so premium look, but I kind of like that. It feels like its less of a old man car if you know what i mean

checked out a GT86 in Paris when I was there and it looked quite nice, the Le Man hybrid race car behind it was much more interesting though

They went down a bank up the port hills (Dyer's Pass Road) on a test drive, sales person was with them at the time, said they tried to take a corner at around 60kph and took it to wide, hit some road grit and lost it, hit a couple of trees on the way down, lucky to be alive

It was definitely the demo. Driver took at 25km/h corner at 60km/h (which is pretty agressive up on the hills) went a little wide, hit some gravel and off he went. Happened on Sunday. Both driver and sales rep are okay.

Ah yes, the airbags work and the passenger cell is intact but i don't think I'll be buying that one...
