ok i have a 98 sti typer v limited . i dont know what diff/hubs it has .but

it has the 2 pot fronts and single piston rear calipers.

but i have found some v7 brembo 4 pots and rotors.

so my question is will i need a adapter?

and while im asking will i need adapters to fit2 pots on the back as well???

Fronts just bolt on rears needs adaptor or different hubs

haha and your standard 5x100 space saver wont fit over the rear if you get a flatty, but i know certain people on here who will make it fit lol

ok cheers. yea i dont care bowt the spacesaver ae its hardly ever driven faraway =P i have rays te37s 17inch by 7 i think,is there a easy way to tell if i will need new hubs ,wat the diff is and wat hub i actually need? cheers trent

Pretty sure the TE37's need to be the 17 x 8" wide ones to fit over Brembo's. So its either spacers or new wheels if you fit the Brembo's.

Yeah I know that feeling I have 2 sets of rims that clear bremboes now and that was hard enough now looking for set number 3

it hasnt been answered yet but the brembo rears wont mount to your rear calipers. im fairly sure you'l have an R180 rear end so you require the r180 rubs from a v5/6 sti (that had 2 pot rears).. or v7/8 sti rear hubs.

the fronts mount right up.

He siad he has a Type R though so has 2 pot rears factory with R180 hubs...Therefore the brembos bolt on the rear if i remember correctly dont they?

scratch that cant be a type r if its got 2 pot fronts and single pot rears..just re read original post..

Type r's had 4 pots and 2 pots on all.....

+1 to this I have the 17*8 TE37's and they clear brembos just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for em with centrecaps and Rays duranuts for about 2k less you could probably get 19's that would fit if your into that
