BH5 not boosting

Hey all

Just had the auto box swapped on my BH5 and now it seems like it's not boosting. Don't have boost gauges installed but. Got it done at First Gearboxes and he said the only thing he touched was the turbo heat shields and the hoses at the top of the firewall.

Any ideas or is anyone kind enough to look at it for me? There'll be a bottle of CC's or beers for ya!

ecu reset and scan could help id if any sensor issues...

can do that if u want..

also see if all hoses arE connected..just give a go over all the hoses etc,..

Firstly is the auto is shifting and not stuck in 3rd "fail safe" mode

If it was fine before it went in then 99.9% chance it is something they have done

Offer it back to them to remedy first

Then get another shop to fix it if they wont

This way you have covered all the base's needed to claim against the orginal repairer under the consumers gauarantee

prob a loss boost pipe or vac hose issue tho

Thanks guys. I've only tried to boost a couple of times since getting it back so haven't noticed it not shifting properly but will test it out.

Last time I drove it was a few months back but it was boosting fine then.

im no expert but i would be thinking maybe he may have bent a heatsheild out of the way to get in somewhere and in the process could have opened the actuator up on the turbo.highly unlikely but i cant think of any other reason for it not to boost unless the turbo was stuffed or there is an airleak some where but if that was the case it probably wouldnt be running the best in the first place(Sits and waits to be shot down)

Took it back and he's checked all the pipes and hoses. I looked over it with him and couldn't see anything misplaced.

The car runs fine but drives like it's NA. The VDF Off light comes on intermittently followed by the CEL. It did this before I had the box swapped but was boosting fine.

Would an ECU reset help with the boosting issue? What's the best way to reset or check VDC codes?

He unbolted the heat shields but will check the actuators.
