SSI Headers

I dont have the SSI headers, but try looking up Kakumei headers etc, you will see they are actually identical, also identical to the genuine tomei headers. I have one myself, cant fault the quality. welds are beautiful, piping is nice and beefy, the joins are also very very well made, mating surfaces are 100% flat, fitment is good and so on.

The only thing I had to do with my car was notch out a tiny bit from the chassis where the headers were rubbing under load.

Yep thoes are the ones I have used before, good mani I say. Nevr pushed huge power thru them but worked well and never did me wrong so cant complain. Sounded still nice and subby like too

lol. Might want to make a custom header gasket for the tri bolt flange then as mine came with a perferated type gasket. Make one out of thin copper sheet or similar.

It worked fine but my EGBP's werent that high compared to what youl be runing with the boost and flow to achieve that power level. Just my input for a heads up to save one of thoes annoying things on the dyno day lol.

Mind you they might of got smart and started selling them with a MLS up pipe to mani gasket from new now as I bought my set a little while ago but yeah just my thoughts lol

Ive got some syms headers for sale. Already heat wrapped!

Yep seen those, but want to twist the setup and will be harder with the symms ones as there is no up pipe. And I don't want to sound like a Honda ;)

ssi make a few different types, the good ones are really good, theres an unequal length set they sell for about $900 retail that has a 3 bolt up pipe flange.

you can spot a good set by the qualitly of the welds on the inside of the collector, good sets have a nice evenly spaced spike at least 25mm long, this helps creative a venturi and helps scavenge velocity from the highest flowing exhaust port

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
