Crank holder tool - want to borrow - Ch-Ch

I would like to borrow a crank holder tool like as per third photo here http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic,17323.0.html

Gotta pull out a EJ25 donkey and that tool is just what I need.

I'm in Christchurch and would appreciate that tool for a few hours.

You can get the same effect by taking off the starter motor and jamming something in the ring gear of the flywheel to prevent it rotating. I usually use an old half shell of a crank thrust bearing or a large flat blade screwdriver.

on the top of the motor, to the left (when looking from the front), there should be a hole (might have rubber bung over it) that if you look at you will be able to see the ring gear. stick a long and large flathead screwdriver down there to lock the motor. used this way with no probs on my 90 rs to lock it all up so could change the cam belt.
