Whats "a good deal" and did u compare them to Toyo T1Rs?..(disclaimer...I rate T1Rs..! :>)

Beaurepairs have got the buy 3 get 1 free deal atm, so coming to $766 for the F1's. And since I'm buying I also haggled them into a free wheel alignment

You should take that quote and go to tonys tyre service and see what they can do. i currently work for them. we match that deal and will beat it by $10 a tyre.... just putting it out there. And i would choose eagle f1.

Good price...still think the Toyos are better but might cost u $200 per corner. I have used the GsD3s before..as they were then. Comparable % reviews on tirereview.uk

Do you guys stock those tyres too? Or these Toyo's?

if i was you stay away from triangles ;) and dz101s my twin turbo would start spin them in the dry trying to pull out of a busy intersection.

t1r, t1 sport, 050s or re11s are my choice in tyres

I think I missed your joke before there :P and I was kidding about the Triangles too :P

Tomorrow I shall ring around for prices on those, thanks :) Will avoid the DZ101's, didn't read good things about them either.

Recently just put some Goodyear F1 D5's on my new wheels.

They seem to be a very good tire and do the trick for me. Very quiet on road noise too.

I heard DZ101's are being discontinued? Maybe there just trying to clear stock.

The girl who rung me from Beaurepairs said the F1 D5's were new and a great tyre blah blah sales sales and the DZ101's were alright, did say while stock lasted, but I think that was for their promotion.

Yeah we stock any brand tyre we can get hold of. RE002's are decent also. I'm currently running Hankook RS-2 on my wrx. Very grippy tyre. Almost on par with the Eagle F1 GSD3.

Dz101s were on my old wrx and they were awesome. Didnt like them on the track though although not sure if that was because of the under body braces etc or lack thereof of the rear one but however. Good in the wet i have to admit but not worth the asking price. The toyos i have on the new one are good so far.

Noooooooooooooo

Hankook RS2's are MUCH BETTERER than GS-D3's

The replacement RS3 is supposed to be better again.

The F1 Asymmetric is much better than the GS-D3.

There was a reason the GS-D3 only lasted a single season as the NZ Production Car Series control tyre - most drivers hated them.

On the road they are OK but the compound is too hard - great life, poor grip.

And the tread design means they lack straight line stability and responsiveness, too much squiggle factor in those V-treads.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
