Can you disengage the awd system in a 94 legacy by pulling out a fuse?

if yes then NO

because you insert a fuse to make it 2wd :P or like me wire it up to the handbrake for max attack in Auto-X's

ONLY Auto's too btw : recommended for when you have a flat tire and ALWAYS fit the SPACE SAVER to the rear wheels : never the front

why would u want to make it rwd? if u want rwd get a nissan, a rwd subaru can barely get over a small bump ive seen it happen hehehe

lol always cracks me up when people say this, why would we want a nissan when we own subarus ::)

i'd have my rwd wrx over a rwd nissan any day. im not a fan of nissans btw.

although doing it with a fuse or whatever is not the way.

Because they can't understand the boxer engine xD I have actually come to disdain nissans as all the people I know that own them are asshats and constantly give me shit for my suby, although its in the shed not going atm, I will change that. And then it will go faster than their little n/a a31 cefiros and auto skylines. Its funny, they think they can get it running n/a then put in a turbo later using the same ecu.. asshats? Yes. But if you want it rwd to drift, just learn to drift 4wd, way more skill involved. And you then don't look like an asshat, or as mentioned before, convert to rwd the hard way, no electronics involved.

So in theory, if centre diff is locked you could ahem remove front axles for some sweet auto dorifto antics

God that'd be a fun car to balance on the throttle, a TT scooby combined with an auto box - one or the other is bad enough.

Waaaarp got a sweet drift now bro *back off* *auto changes down* floor it *no boost car straightens up* OH THERE'S THE BOOST *steps out again*

Another subaru v power pole makes the news

some cars have fwd and others have diff lock or locked diff written on them do they basically all do the same thing when inserting the fuse?

FWD is for; you have a flat, and put a biscuit on.

always fit a space saver to the rear wheels (move a good wheel to the front if you have to)

Definately, you always want maximum traction on your wheels that point the car where to go.

I thought I might be a cheeky bugger, and always carry around a full set of tyres in the boot, cos then If someone doesn't like me, and they slash my tyres, I'll be like "Haha!- spare tyres!"

back on topic;

It's even better to not use a space saver, but a legit wheel(probably not too easy with 11" rims ;D)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
