Paint codes/tinted tail lights?

Hey guys,

Getting a touch up done on one of the panels in my 96 WRX, I need to find the paint code, I've looked on the internet but I don't know the 'name' of my colour - it's silver as far as I'm aware ???

Also, was thinking of tinting my tail lights - anyone know what the best method would be?? Obviously there's a trade off but I'd definitely want it to be legal, preferably cheap and easy too! Thanks

You can buy aftermarket taillights that are legally darker.

I asked prior and they were a bit iffey on the tail lights so I took mine out for warrant but they were fine with the tinted side indicators, they were also pretty lenient on the exhaust so who knows.

i tinted mine the other day.

got a can called NIGHTSHADES from repco.

the lacquer is specifically designed for this perposs.

did it before a warrant also and the mechanic said its fine to tint

them but u need the reflector in the tail light to b visible and u have to b

able to c the light emitted from 200 m in daytime bro...
