Exhaust shops in wellington?

Want to uprade my exhaust from the turbos back, and want some reccomendations from forum members as to whom i should be talking to about doing this work.

Price isn't so much of an issue as Quality, performance and legality are my main concerns.

Maclennen's is not owned by Alistair anymore, not sure who own's it.

The head mechanic who worked under Alistair has moved on to Toyota servicing up the coast.

I wouldn't say they are expert's they used to be but you could do alot worse.

I admit its been a wee while since I was in there. But last time I was, Richard was still there and he knows his stuff. Couldnt comment on the other employees.

Richard is long gone, in J'ville, Greg is also gone, to Toyota from what BC5RS says.

don't know john... Richard the owner isn't the Richard munkvy meant though is it viv?

maybe I'm getting my names mixed up, but there was a mechanic who had a lot of

subaru experience that left just before greg... pretty sure he was a Richard as well.

Richard was the mechanic I dealt with for my rebuild. He was excellent to deal with, knew his stuff and no BS. No idea if he is still there or if he was the manager too.

yeah pretty sure he's the guy I meant... always had time to look at my car when I stopped by unannounced with a problem,

and didn't charge anything for his time
