paint and colour matching issues

my paint code is 95h and every other b4 around seems darker than mine but they still have the same paint code as me ??? any way I have been to two places now and both have mixed the paint up to my colour code and both have come out darker than my car . . actually the same colour as every other b4, is there any way I can find out the real colour of my car as I\'m starting to think its had a respray at some point . . paint doesn\'t look factory - quality wise that is. thanks in advance

Only way will be colour swatches and match by eye.

95H is a dark dark blue.

that\'s where the new paint is on haha well it is likely that its 95h and it has been tinted lighter hence the colour difference, or it could be a different subaru blue all together but how can a car painter possibly colour match it if he doesn\'t know the correct paint code?

I would say yours has been kept outside for long periods of time and has faded rather than being an actual different colour. Paint code is paint code and unless mixed wrong it will be the same colour as your car was new, not after 10 odd years of weathering.

Put my car beside any other blue b4 and mines way lighter, it also had a evo 4 spoiler on it and that had been painted to match the car, the colour match was perfect so just need to find out who painted it or mixed up the colour, I\'ve seen sun faded cars and mine looks nothing like it.

A paint shop should just use a device/thing that will get the exact colour to match your vehicle.
