The v5/6 AFMs are very fragile... just letting someone try one out is risky... my advice is to buy a new one from

Subaru... and use only the standard airbox and filter.

Lies borrow one theyre fine. But do use stock box you wont get as much vibration and better for the car anyway. Like I said they may be fine my car seemed to chew them for no particular reason I gave someone a couple and some would throw a light others wouldnt but idle issue would go away if swapped it out ???

I KNOW rev c is the same and also some nissan take the exact same afm. All V5/6 sti or not take the same afm by p/n. If its fukt theyre cheaper genuine than aftermarket.

That doesn\'t even makes sense bro. My point is, that they are fragile, so lending a know good one to someone with a bad one, that is potentially bad because they have a pod filter... or the like... is risky... you can disagree all you want.

He wants to try one to see if thats his issue not borrow one long term well thats what I took from it anyway. Unsure who would lend one long term as it would put their own wagon out of action. Fragiles just not a word I would use theyre not made of china they just seem to fuck out in saying that some people never have a problem. Idk why theres not much to them to go wrong in reality.

I was running foam pod with no oil and wasnt falling apart. Also was mounted so it didnt flop about. Had them fail in stock and twisted location.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
