added to that these days you can get any core / compressor arrangement with turbine housings to suit subaru too.

no need to go T3 twisted or holset equivalents if you dont want.

carefully dissect the marketing dribble from IRL performance too.. some impressive dribble above ... ;D

They must be good then :P all I am saying is the results from them seem to speak for themselves, bolt on (which I don\'t think any garret are) and published results showing good spool/power making characteristics. TBH best option is probably just to buy a turbo off Steve Murch

read above - can get bolt on garrett easy as, get turbine housing from ATP or others and boom.

results are their own marketing dribble and can only be viewed in that light. Not even Garretts numbers stack up most of the time.

did you know those results are not actually from their own testing but rather from a customer. He did all the testing himself and they simply asked him if they could use his data, also why do you say they are from a 2.5, I can assure you they are from a JDM 2liter sti just like ours so the results should be directly comparable and worth considering

dude chill. all marketers tell lies, nothing personal at you. from all companies all over the world in all industries.

Specifically you can find any turbo manufacturer that will gloat about how amazeballs their turbo is compared to anything else - so treat them ALL with skepticism.

FUnkytown I am sure all companies try to present their products in favorable light but if you go onto scoobynet (UK\'s main subaru site) you will see many of them have used these turbos with good results.

There are many options out there, I simply think this is one worth considering, no chill needed, just don\'t like the idea of a product being labled as bad or mis-represented simply because most are these days.

I looked really hard at those stock-location turbos (as funky said, 99% of them are just Garretts + Subaru housings + marketing) but then I discovered that the housings can be had pretty cheap direct from the manufacturers in Taiwan, then you buy the CHRA of your choice, send the whole kit and caboodle to MSE, twiddle your thumbs for a week or 2 and suddenly you have a bolt-on stock location thing that\'s nigh-on indistinguishable from the $2500 marketed ones.
