I voted for Version 2 as I have one they are great, feel like a proper car, small, fast, loud. The savagery of the TD05 makes the car feel genuine and like a drivers car not like my old v9 sti which was easier to mod and undoubtedly faster but was overly controlled by the electronics. There wasn\'t a big turbo kick etc.

The V2 makes you feel like possum bourne, it has an amazing sound and is a true classic.

It doesn\'t drive the best, it isn\'t the fastest around the twisties and not in a straight line but its the best of the early-mid 90s 2.0l turbos!

Just a true master of its time.

V7 the uglyliness makes it tough and all the goodies it introduced when it came out

have owned a V2 and V5 both good cars also

Version 6 STi. Classic shape with decent interior and awesome spoiler, the pinnacle of the GC8.

Voted the hatch as it defines a coming of age for the WRX. Despite being a complete departure from the older cars it manages to be an excellent all round package. Performance, practicality and pretty decent looks that even your better half will appreciate.

For me it was a hard choice between the ver 1-2 wrx in RA form because of it\'s pure basic light weight no side skirts no wing look mad the ver 6 the most refined and last of the classic shape. But ver 6 won because of the great headlights and the tasteful facelift they gave the impreza
