2 pot rear brembos bh5

Recommended Posts

Kartboy (and some others) adaptors are readily available, pricey much, someone on here had some made up, ask dacerx. I was lucky enough to score correct backing plates and 2 pots, still cannot find time to install. Pure luck as I've never seen another one for sale before.

Ok I will have a sniff around, is this "kartboy" brand for sale in nz?

What do ya mean by bolt on parts? What bolt on parts do I need?

You need something like this:

2pot_dura.jpg

2pot1-1.jpg

braketo2.jpg

or order S401 Backing plates. (I did post part numbers in one of the many threads about BE/BH 2pot conversions)

or you can weld you backing plate to suit 2pots

Why would u need them for the front? they are bolt on for all front calipers..... its just rears that have issues?

BL/BP rotor, GTS-T R33? caliper. Common stateside not so much here and can fit a stock 16" rim over it. Almost a brembo for a fair chunk cheaper 316mm vs 326mm and 20mm on the early 4 pots.

Nope not with the big rotor only the 294mm so 20mm in it it looks substantially cooler. The bolt spacing is the difference between sub and nis which is why the spacer kind of works a bit better with nissan and run same common pads.

Anyway on topic I know nothing of the rears but do R180 hubs work? Wonder what genuine parts thro partsouq would cost. Got to be cheaper than adaptors+cert.

R160 rear backing plate from bug wrx(non sti) fit to bh/be rear hubs.. you need to dismantle the hubs and usually or almost always the bearings don't press off in one piece so best to replace them with new ones while your there, so press the hub off and unbolt the backing plate and swap it over etc.. cost of the bearing kits will set you back around 120 eachside from bnt,

If your going brembo then you will need to make the handbrake work as its 170mm vs 190mm there are more expensive ways but best and cheapest answer to this is add extra 10mm of meat to each handbrake shoe.. place down blenhiem rd over the bridge opposite from air force museum did mine cost about 120ish from memory.

This is the way you do it if you don't want to bother with cert.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
