BP5 suspension setups

Hey guys

Just wanting to know what setups people are running in their wagons. Ive not long lowered the front of mine to even out the ride height but it has made it ride and handle pretty averagely.

So just seeking advice on what some of you guys have done that has worked well with ride quality, handling and overall look. Trying to avoid adjustables though.

I've just got bilsteins from a newer model (2005 I think) in mine. Actually raised it by a fraction compared to the original bilsteins which were shot.

Being in CHCH though means even the bilsteins are too hard for our roads at the moment.

Lots go RS-R springs, H&R and STI Pinks! Well, in our experience! RS-R for drop, STI to keep it in the family!

The front of mine sits about that low now after putting the springs in which I'm pretty sure were H&R too. The back annoys me now cos it looks like its sitting too high.

Does it go the other way if you put the rear springs in as well?

If I wanted to go back to standard height would I just keep the factory front spring and put a new standard rear set in to cure the saggy butt?

Been rethinking the adjustables route as I'm wanting to recondition my Bilsteins soon anyway. So add the cost of springs on top of that would I just be better off going with adjustables? Or better off sticking with standard?

I'd go adjusties.

I love my bilstein plus sti pink setup but cost wise i should've gone full adjusties.

Costs are:

Sti pinks and bilsteins- $250

Revalve and recondition care of chris of suspension tech= $840

Alignment- $50

All other stuff was diy.

There was a set of pretty much brand new Bilsteins on TM - came in a boot of an imported car, saw them in person. The seller (car dealership) wanted a grand for them, I'd say the price is easily negotiable.

I am running STi Pinks and Bilsteins and car handles pretty good.

I might try and get those Bilsteins yet only thing is he's not keen to ship them.

If I got those would go with some pinks too... Who are you guys getting yours through?

If I don't get them will def look into some adjustables... Those of you who have them, what brand have yas got?

I got my pinks from japanparts.com

I'm using BC Gold adjustables now, and I really like them

No worries! I'd be on them if I hadn't already got a set off them
