D1 Racing Front Slotted Rotors

For that money you might as well get a set of Znoelli rotors. At least theyre proven to be reasonably good.

Who else stocks Zonellis apart from repco? Repco quoted me $419 for a set of fronts slotted, and he said it'll cost a lil more for slotted and dimpled.

Anyone know where I can score some for a bit cheaper? Otherwise I was thinking of giving the D1 ones a go...

is that a trick question..

go direct and say your Club sub, they should look after you, and they do matching high temp pads as well. I got the S12 rotor and pads - thoroughly reccommend

+1 got the same setup on my WRX along with Goodridge braided lines very nice performance ;D though i swear the discs work like cheese graters and the pads the cheese lol :D dust buildup is insane especially when you're doing heavy/left foot braking. Anyone else with this setup suffering from the same symptoms? (Pros outweigh cons so I still highly recommend this setup)

Yeah those slotted rotors kill pads in short order. My last set of bendix ultimates lasted 8,000kms and 2 track days so not too bad.

Awesome when things get really hot at the track tho - I never got total brake loss like with the flat rotors

And they make a cool noise when you hit the anchors hot from 200 :D

The Znoelli rep told me the S6 rotors are a much more friendly animal than the S12's but the S12 is better for track work.

I geta bit more vibration with them with the 4 pots compared to the floating 2 pots. Around town its not noticeable - only in high speed braking.

They do look AWESOME tho

For the price you pay, it's an awesome piece of kit :D oh yea that "cool noise" you mentioned, scared the hell out of me the first time I heard it thought something bad was going to happen haha then I remembered..."oh right got slotted discs now" ;D

Hmmm, cool. So you just whip off the caliper and then the discs come off... excellent (I see an upgrade in my future lol!).

Yeah bro, you just clamp the brake hose to prevent the pistons from pushing out, If you got like a hard bristle brush, give the hub a clean and pop on the new rotor. Easy peasy bro 8)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
