Could make the next meet is a Saturday/Sunday, go for a drive then have dinner?

how Far East? Well I was hoping someone here could give us some suggestions. SH1 goes west up Kapiti and I'm sure most of us do that road pretty regularly. So there has to be a good driving road with a view and/or destination worth going to up central (SH2) or east out past wainuiomata...

the social evenings are cool, but I actually want to go for a drive, ya' know, do something with our cars... Given we are a car club... :-p

Short Story!

Me and the missus headed out East a couple of years ago; We headed to "The Longest Named Place in the World" (Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu) There's nothing there other than a long sign post! But the roads we found out there were pretty good. We headed to Dannevirke, then turned right onto Weber Road which led onto Route 52 and followed it to a place called Wimbledon, where there was a nice friendly pub called Wimbeldon Tavern. Then we carried on up Route 52 to Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu.

After taking a picture or two of the sign we headed back South along Route 52, this time not going back to Dannevirke, we stayed on Route 52 towards Alfredton, then onto Eketahuna - This was a very good, quiet, driving road!

Surely you've been here Jared?

I don't post much - but I have it on good authority that the Featherston side of the Rimutakas is going to have upto 3 construction sites going at once till end of June - meaning: stop-go-traffic-management-tailback-nonsense requiring a calm head or avoidance. Something to remember when going to the "other-side" :D

:D

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
