Euro Finance Christchurch

A quick review of the finance company I used to buy my car (hope this fits into the category).

I went with Euro Finance (UDC) in Christchurch as they are what the car dealer used. The finance side of things went smoothly, but did have to wait for the guy to turn up with the papers (was about an hour wait, but was a Saturday afternoon).

Discovered that the payments were monthly not weekly like we asked so called and was advised they would change it, but they didn't.

Then need up to date statements for the bank to get a mortgage so called on Monday and was told no problem, nothing there at end of day so called first thing Tuesday and told sorry he wasn't at work on Monday so hadn't done anything but would get it sorted, late Tuesday nothing so emailed, no response. Emailed a stern email this morning stating that I needed it urgently, finally got a email back saying they sent it through yesterday. So told he would organize it to be resent. Still waiting. Luckily the bank has given us approval anyway in the mean time.

As a comparison my partner uses MTF and they had her info through in less than an hour!

Finally got my statement after 4 days and many calls and emails!!!

Ok had to get new statements for new Home loan application so needed to get new upto date statements. Only took just over an hour to get my statements this time. So much happier with the service.
