Same as what I put on my GF8 except for a forrester.

Harley (94 leone) put on one his gc8 the other day - had same problem as me - the gearbox mount was about an inch off (could get around it by using a spacer) and we both didn't use the extra bolt on hanger it comes with

They sound alright thought - i was going to cut the rear muffler off and replace with a decent quality muffler

Thanks!! sounds like i might have to find a down pipe and hopefully my mate will make a whole new exhaust for me. Now i just have to find a down pipe for a forester

Tried to buy one for my SG9 (same shape as SG5) and they are no longer made I was told but they still haven't removed it from their website.

Pretty dumb! I was basically told to buy the WRX system and have custom changes made, extend the downpipe etc etc. At that point I really couldn't be bothered.

Thats annoying. I know a few years ago i got a rage down pipe for my 03 forry so i wonder if they still do it. Might be worth a try.

I think the Rage stuff is still available but it costs quite a bit more, never really looked into it after I got my GeNome axle back.

it is a tad loud if you go full rage as well but i dont want that. I just want something that flows better. Get some more torque. Dont just want it for the sound.

It doesnt scrape on the driveway now so I'm really happy with that haha. For a piece of kit sub $500 delivered Im happy with the quality.

Thread dredge but have been asked by someone about this exact same system. I wonder if they are available yet? RallyTechNZ - did you have any luck finding a good forester exhaust for SG5/9 ?

Oh yeah cool.. would be good to know how well it goes. There don't seem to be many off the shelf options for the SG-onwards Foresters.

i never got mine done... with my old sg i got a rage down pipe fitted, i dont know if they still do them??
