What small upgrades would you do on a Blitzen (B4 TT)

Hey guys, my first post here.

I got a BIitzen 2000 for cheap and spent last few days on Google\etc before starting this thread.

There's an overwhelming amount of info out there about this engine (twin turbo).

Question is, what small upgrades you would think it's worth on this one?

I'm not going as far as single turbo conversion, that would be too much of a spend, I only want really small improvements for a fun day to day drive.

It's auto gearbox (yeeah I know).

What's already on my list is some body work, make her shine again.

In general I want that to look pretty stock, but engine-wise I think that VOD is horrible, any way for a small improvement?

Yea do that . Gutted cats . Better muffler . Free up the intake and change the turbo to intercooler hoses and you will be impressed

or if budget stretches install FMIC, it does absolute wonders for economy, VOD and outright power

Also the under manifold silicone hoses wake them up a bit too

Don't buy a boost controller, least not an electronic one

Total cost under 1k

Power gain - stock 120-130wKw up to 160-170ish wkw

"Hose ten" mod isn't a mod as such, it's a 20 second blocking of one vacuum hose and it makes a massive world of difference

If feeling real creative you can swap out the primary cartridge for a VF27 for a ridiculously fast spool up

Any of you recommend a good garage in Wellington (also have googled but there are mixed posts there)

I will read through and maybe post my progress here as I go.

Ohh the other thing I'm still not sure: does the Blitzen come with anything different on the engine? Also results on google are a bit blurry (or I don't know how to search)

Yeah man, blitzen is a styling kit and nothing more

Does give you better resale than most mind you

Any questions fire away, between the community here we've got it all sorted more or less despite a few odd opinions

The UK forums do have some good info but not the same DIY approach as here, and the US ones don't even get this car so half the posters are kiwis anyway
