Headlight covers source (& more)

these guys seem to have a few things on the product range, not sure how they are to deal with or turnaround time etc

racer's might like the weight reduction of no headlights etc

Already used them, not too bad wait around 3 weeks if I remember correctly.

Got some headlight covers from them years ago for my bagged legacy. Think it was 2009. About 2-3 weeks for item to be manufactured and sent to me. Good quality also

Just FYI they clip onto the headlight. Not a weight saving there.

Actually there is a huge wait saver for race car, you just do what I did, grab a light from pick a part rip it apart, keep the plastic rear and bolt cover directly to that. Then it looks like a light with cover but is only plastic. Granted this doesn't help when it's dark but during daylight its fine.

Cant you just buy a false light? I have seen a few around at the track with a flat surface and holes in it.

Not disagreeing with your idea, just seems like a bit of a stuff about.

Yeah you can, but when I did mine I couldn't find one for sale, so did this instead, certainly would have been easier, and if I could have found one I liked, I would have just bought it, would have saved me money too, probably.

i was thinking could bodge up a bracket yea

I just cabled tied mine to the radiator support (through those clip tabs), then drilled a hole in the corner where it meets the guard, and used a screw to hold it in place (with a rubber bush behind the cover to stop it from being tightened right down and cracking).
