I've had a crack at Forza series but I don't like them imho pretty colours dont make a good racing game  and don't even get me started on that abomination of a game called NFS

 

I don't play Forza as a simlulation. That's what Assetto Corsa or Project Cars are for

 Assetto Corsa yes good game however Project Cars I don't like it too much money and no support from the Devs and from the reviews I see on steam it is not a very good game

+1 for assetto corsa and project cars also love dirt. Assetto bloody good for drifting and I'm used the wheel being set up and working like that and project cars and dirt. At least they know it has problems and will hopefully patch it soon.  As for a controller, I'm so S*** at using them my left thumb doesn't know what the F*** to do. Keyboard and mouse or steering wheel where it at for me

I use a G27 for most of my racing based games, but some games I'm more familiar with a 360 controller.

Great sim. Is free to start with and you buy extra tracks and cars but you dont need any. 

Good physics engine, very realistic. Cheaper (to start with) alternative to iRacing

I did try to play this game, but I am not of a fan. Forza is way better than Rebel Racing.
