I might be wrong, but aftermarket headers on their own only give you an increase at the top end?

The headers really only liven up the top end. They do nothing noticeable in the lower and mid ranges. That's right. It frees up the revs above 5500RPM according to the butt dyno.

Rear sway bar and new legacy suspensions (I have an outback)

RSB will help a whole lot. Well worth it.

I saw that I can get the Cusco for a good price from RHD Japan, but would be happy with the Ultraracing one as well.

Just depends on the deal I get when I buy it in a month or two.

Good to know for the CS discount.

Priced up Cusco too.

  1. It's 20mm vs 21mm
  2. About $40 more expensive, both delivered to my door.

You mean 40$ more expensive for Cusco ?

When I priced it on Pro Wholesale without discount it was more expensive than Cusco, both delivered.

We are shopping for different part numbers and in your case Cusco might be a more favorable option ;)

Mine currently sounds exactly like the car at 3.32

That's not bad :) Similar to stock sound but louder I guess.

Closer to $400 or $500 if you take a 21mm one with rear lower brace.

Nah with the rear lower brace :)

I saw that Ultra racing says that the rear lower brace is mandatory with their rear sway bar, which is why I count it as part of the package and price.

I didn't express myself correctly, I meant that you need to reinforce the rsb brackets if you take a thick RSB. I wouldn't install an RSB without reinforcement now that I know about this problem. Seems that some guys abroad even bent the RSB brackets with the stock RSB.

Ultraracing say that you need an underbody brace with bracket reinforcements when you install their RSB pointing you at their one. They're just trying to sell it like @GorGasmSpecB pointed.

Of course you can mix the brands :)

Another thing to note @delta  Make sure you get the right underbody brace. There's two different part numbers: one is for a plain underbody brace, another one is underbody brace with integrated rsb brackets.

Yeah saw that, won't make the mistake, thx

Isn't it 20mm hollow on the japanese version and 17mm on the US version ?

GT and 3.0R RSB are not always the same.

Partsouq lists either 20451AG080 or 20451AG021 for the chassis number of my old 3.0, check what part number is for yours.

Was significantly smaller diameter compared to ZeroSports 21mm replacement.

Quote

20.0mm: 20451AG000/20451AG001
19.1mm: 20451AG030/20451AG031/20451AG090
19.0mm: 20451AG010
17.3mm: 20451AG020/20451AG021/20451AG080
15.9mm: 20451AG060/20451AG070

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
