EZ30 turbo remote tuning

I havent personally but I would suggest the extra outlay to take it to hands on tuner would probably be worth it for something as specialized as that? The ability for someone to be hands on and trouble shoot issues seems like a fairly key component to me.

Might find that alot of the dyno tuners around don't know how to setup the stock ECU to include boost control or just don't want to open that can of worms. In general quite a few of the E-Tuners come from IT backgrounds so have a much deeper understanding of things and how to add additional tables not present currently.

I am located an hour south of Dunedin so I don't mind putting it on a trailer to travel to there but I don't want to take it all the way to Christchurch. Apet in Dunedin said they could do it and were very confident about it compared to the other tuners i talked to, but I have heard mixed feedback about them

recent S*** storm aside about advertising on the forum...XRT from Barbados has tuned the raptor supercharger on an H6/EZ30 gen 4 legacy and has a good knowledge of the ez30.  His english isn't great, but he is super responsive and knows his stuff.

I'm with @willisnz on this one. When I was looking at tuners for EZ30, specifically turbo/supercharged, all my research pointed me to XRT.

Yep I was seriously considering him too but got sidetracked and foolishly spent my money on Kido :/

Who cares what level of English he has - he knows what he's doing and you're still able to understand each other. Last line of defence (for a native English speaker) is to point at someone's bad English, imho.

I understand not wanting to take it to Christchurch but there is @SAS aka @gotasuby there and I think they've tuned an EZ30. I know it's a bit of a hike but their work is good from what I've seen.

If I could afford a new motor and tune (I can't because I've kinda been screwed with my car) and a way for him to tune my car, I'd be taking it to them.

I had type some stuff and it was lost due to a failed attachment.

Please note most of the time, I reply when I am working or tuning. I do not have time to be wordy and I know it is not the best communication. Tuning takes priority over trying to convey stuff that I think persons can use common sense to achieve they requested answers.

I am taking time out to reply to you all here, when I apologies to a new customer (referral to XRT) because I am currently doing the following (all at once) and remembered this forum:

  1. Currently working on a 2008 USDM EZ30 Supercharged
  2. 2015 2.5i Legacy
  3. 2004 JDM STI w/ Blouch Dom 1.5XRT TS running 28PSI+
  4. 2004+ ADM H6 EZ30 w/ new Raptor Header and customer requesting feedback on if tuning is needed - http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/download/file.php?id=1919
    1. file.php?id=1920
  5. Preparing for 2014 USDM 3.6 5EAT for Supercharging
  6. Preparing a 2012 USDM 3.6 5EAT for Supercharging
  7. Tuning a 2004 JDM EZ30 5EAT in New Zealand who started tuning last night in the bad weather.

All of this I am doing while on vacation so that come Monday, I have have a little peace of mind that all cars are safe while I vacation, spending time with my family and kds.

  • Remote tuning is easy and yet difficult. Difficult based on time and road access.
  • Remote tuning is no different to live upfront tuning, but even more safer, because things are done slowly. once all the logging params are log, you capture all the events of the engine + being on the phone with the customer or customer detail feedback.

If any of you need clarification, just drop me an email and I will come back on and reply. It is not easy tuning (practically takes up too much of my time because I Fine Tune) and trying to be on forums.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
