Not the same block but similar and an interesting comparison none the less. There are a few more videos on the channel about the full build of this engine into a car.

Edit: Whoops it actually is the same block

Is that a 'part' though?

Well they have part numbers in the Cusco catalogue so I'd say it's valid enough.

Not that you'd ever want a bolt or bolt together one though.

Once you get an 8 point cage and realise how soft your car is and have to pull a few kg's of Spring rate to cope it's sad.

or lvvta allows a half cage with front intrusion bars to the footwell. Great for a daily as you don't have to climb over the bars and it stiffens up the car heaps.

How can a half cage be 8 point??? Or should I say, how can a half cage have front intrusion bars?

Insomuch as your skeleton is a body 'part'.

No, not a part... "The human skeleton is the internal framework of the body." - wikipedia.

@Loren Two diffferent things, wasn't too clear on that. Half cage is WOF only and no Motorsport licence deal. Not great, but good for daily street car and no hassles anyone can drive car.

front bar go to custom boxed sections in footwell, again not great but in a pre 2008 Japanese car it stiffens thing up massively.

Ever tried... Hey honey you just need to sit this test, pay money and compete in events to drive the car again.

Well it would crazy to go to a full cage if you weren't going to compete... and the yearly license and auth card fees don't amount to much... less than $200/yr.

yes fees are low, the test is easy, but ever left the missus home with only a race car when she wants to go somewhere and she doesnt have a race license :$

That's not how it works - if you have an authority card (which is tied to the car) then you can get it certed, then WoFd, then anyone with a regular old license can drive it.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
