'06 Spec B 6MT shifter slop

Hey team,

I've got a lot (a good couple of inches) of slop side to side in my shifter, just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of what to replace to eliminate this?

All the threads I've seen are outdated, managed to find one with a good diagram to help finding parts but that's about it...

I have already replaced the front and rear shifter stay bushings with Whiteline units with no change to the slop, I suspect the shift linkage bushing is the weak point but I'm having trouble finding a replacement for a reasonable cost.  Does anyone know a NZ distributor or even someone making parts locally?

For the shift linkage and pivot bushings a guy called corgiwerx makes hardened replacements which will help a heap. Or just grab some new factory ones from partsouq.com

 

The pivot bushings made a heap of difference on mine. Almost completely removed the large distance side to side slop.

Thanks! I've gotten in touch with Corgiwerx and have a set of both linkage and pivot bushings on the way. Can't recommend the guy enough so far, fast and easy to deal with and for a very reasonable price. Will update once they're installed.
