Legacy wagon keeps stalling.

Hi. I have a '96 Legacy wagon (just recently purchased). The car has been stalling, on average very 20-40km or so. It's happened when idling at the light, driving at 50kph on the flat, driving uphill, coasting downhill... so apart from on the open road, pretty much every situation. Can be restarted imediately no problem, but just wondering what the issue might be? Thanks in advance.

Is it hard to start? Could be crank angle sensor?? I've had a nissan sr20de that had a range of problems and the crank angle sensor caused random stalling and hard starting. Sometimes the van refused to go over 60kmh. 

 

If it were me I'd go through and check pcv hoses, throttle body, spark plugs, leads, check it's getting good fuel pressure, iacv, afm, start with the basics.

Nah, starts fine both at beginning and after stalling.
