sti intake manifold on bp5

Does anyone know if a v7-v11 sti manifold will fit a legacy bp5? If so I assume the electronic throttle body will be straight bolt on and function properly? And is there anything else I'd need? I'm installing a holset hx40 twisted setup and the manifold only just gets in the way.

Yeah it fits, try find one that came with throttle as the inlet is slightly different as there is no longer the IACV to deal with.

 

Getting a full later model one will also give you top feed TGV’s and rails and all that which can make things simpler. Someone was selling one on FB just yesterday fully dressed with everything.

I've found a v11 sti intake manifold. The throttle body looks to be electronic, can you confirm this? And would i use that sti loom or will my legacy loom connect properly?

Yeah that the one I saw too. Yes v11’s are dbw also. Hard to say exactly on the loom side. If all the plugs look to be the same you might be alright but i’d use the Legacy loom but with the plastic support setup from the V11 manifold. Then you know everything is wired correctly but still has the OEM mounting.
