Heya,

is this right?

turbos are vf20 and vf27

mods are split rail fujitsubo 3" diff back pipe and muffler intake silence cut off at the join to the bottom ( so gets air from gaurd and behind light)

all i can seem to get out of them is about 8psi and 12psi with my prova ecu

and 8psi and 10psi with my standard ecu at about 14 degrees in CHCH?

that cant be right isnt the prova meant to be at about 11 and then 16? or there abouts and standard something like 10-11 and 14?

what could cause this as i have loaded it up with the brakes and all i can get on primary is 8psi in 3rd and 4th

i read on another thread thats about right for wastegate?

any help would be appreciated im in chch so if you can help me this week please do as im off work

also it seems that if you chnage jst before vod in 2nd you are stuck in it in 3rd and takes about 3 seconds before it switches back or if you lift off it will change back other

man thats ratshit when I had that ecu in my car I ran 17psi primary and 19psi secondary a few time but mostly 14 psi on primary and 17psi on the secondary normally

ok i remember now when the engine wasnt in trying to install my gauges the black solenoid box on drivers side was making a real weird ticking buzzing noise when the key turned off and ran my battery flat

also its kind of weird that rsb leggy had my ecu before i bought it from him he had an rsb aswell he has z/s controller and zeropsorts intake and it ran 14 and17psi sometimes more ? and mine is 8 and 11-12?

what could the trouble be? im not getting any fault cel codes

umm im not sure it threads into the intake manifold the only 1 that does that but i have a tee before that anyway so it goes between that and my boost feed

Yeah run it off a different line. That valve won't be doing any good for your boost readings.

oh shit ok i cant really run it off anything else because its an autometer gauge and need an 1/8npt i will change it later this week when i get my new intercooler and just weld an 1/8npt spud to it for a reading from the intercooler tank?

is that a good place for a reading?

as i cant really get one from anywhere else unless i remove manifold and drill and tap a hole

Eh?? Just whack a T into one of the lines and run it off that!

Weird. No, it must be run off the manifold. Post up a pic of what you've currently got set up.

Could always screw a hose adapter into the threaded part and then you can tee off from any of the normal vacuum lines if that would make it easier.

but there is only one of the threads and its needed for that valve thingy on top i teed it into the brake source? as thats just a straight through adaptor from the manifold

Actually either way will be ok. I thought you had binned the valve and screwed in the gauge adaptor.

Have you changed all your lines to blue silicone? Did you retain the restrictor pills??

very good point... i got a realy good mod for them restrictor pills to if i recall

i only changed the lines for the ones you can see at the top the 3 and bov i did the fuel regs and the bov on the secondary side as well and also the lines for the fuel evap black canister

i left the standard lines for the rest including the 10 and 23 from gaurd and on the turbo so left the pill in

also i changed the 10 and 23 around to see what it would change and it did nothing so maybe the boost control in the gaurd is buggered for unplugd

ok today i tried a black box from a b4 and an early tt and both had the same results as the black box it had when i got it

changed the in gaurd solenoid same results

what else could be wrong?

still at 7-8 and 10-12 tested in 3rd 4th nd 5th

at idle the car sits at around 17inhg when warm

also i am thinking that maybe i have the wrong bov on the passenger side? it has a blue strip on it?

Go buy an Autosure mechanical warranty, wait a few weeks then take it in and get it checked over. Sounds like the wastegate or exhaust control valve stuck open a bit.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
