I have a 99 RSK with the standard 17 inch rims currently with 215/45 rubber.

My question is will these rims fit 225/45 rubber???

your speedo will be incorrect as these tyres will be taller

It depends on the tyre. You may need to go to 225/50 on a 7 inch wheel, but then

you may have other problems to sort out.

45 isn't a measurement, it's a proprtion of the width of the tyre.

yep % of the tyre width.

yours should be fine. u wont notice much of a difference.

the extra width will be 5mm either side (215 - 225 mm)

Get some 45 or 42 offset rims to position the wheels slightly further out (also try to get 7.5 inch wide, then you can comfortably run 235/45R17's)

what are the standard offset for the rsk wheels?

not sure you will fit 235s on a 7.5'' rim?

im pretty sure if you have up to a 5mm spacer it will be sweet. roll the guards and get 25mm spacers

yeah they are illegal but who would know

I run spacers on the front of my cruiser to get caliper clearance they safe as it has done like 250,000 k/m on them never ever had a problem
