2003 Legacy GT power output?

Hi all,

I am looking at buying the 2003 facelift legacy for my family car but cant seem to find the information about specific power output between the GT and the GT spec-B?

can anyone elighten me on the difference between the GT and the GT spec B? ???

at a guess it will 205kw, same as current legacys with different touque

Are you talking MY03 (the last of the BE/BH series), or the MY04 (the first of the BL/BP series)??

I think there is no difference in power at all between BL/BP GTs and GTBs. As far as I can tell, the differences are all trim; the Macintosh cd stacker stereo, the full leather interior/ heated / powered seats, a different front bumper (has two small round foglights and flares at the bottom), eighteen inch 10 spoke mag wheels, and possibly the aluminium kick plates in the door sills, the rubber boot tray (wagon), and the Eco mode for the ECU (which maybe all GTs have but I haven't been in anyone else's GT to confirm).

Our manual says either 205 or 206kw, I can't remember which.

Just go out and drive some cars. I've driven GTB's that are slower than an NA, and GT's that would put an STI to shame. The variation in power outputs is phenomenal! Find one that you like and hauls arse, and don't worry about the rest.

The first BH5 GT I drove went like stink and the other three I drove didn't come close to having the same pull.
