Differences between NZ NEW/Jap import for BP Legacy

Hey all, I tried searching but couldn't find anything legacy related. Im looking at buying a 2003-2006 Legacy non turbo 2.0R wagon. I have seen a few on trademe and was wondering what the differences are (if any between Jap imports and NZ New). I tried looking at wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Legacy_%28fourth_generation%29 but it seems pretty USA focused. Hope you guys can help me out, Chris

BH and BP H6's are very different engines. I would rather have a BH H6 over a BP any day. I've seen BP H6's empty a sump (6.5L) in 2000km. Oh and Subaru NZ say that a litre every 1000km is acceptable oil consumption, so your BP H6 will run out of oil before the next change at 10,000km.
