and don\'t do it in shorts or singlet lol

You can get heavier duty ones ( I have them at work for when I am doing the real dirty jobs) Also we have them as our barrier gloves in our rescue gear as they rip less easy which while cutting people out of cars is a must

Yesterday I was doing 40, slowed down and turned down my street and he followed me, just picked the mrs up from work. And today I was doing 45 stopped at a red light then drove a bit further up to park and he come up next to me. Nothing to provoke them I was just driving carefully

If I was a cop and saw your car/s driving round I would do the same regardless of your driving. Well unless you bribed me megabucks of course.

Got the Lada running so dad could put it to work, pretty much gave him a new tractor. He was stoked.

In soviet Russia you don\'t rake paddocks, Lada does.

Nice example these were well ahead of their time with coil springs

AWD central locking diff, hi/lo, ground clearance, short wheel base, very robust/simple and affordable compared to Range Rover (and before Subaru went AWD) just they were basic underpowered communist Russian engineering under geared on the road especially the early 4 speeds, but great off road.

Young neighbour has/made best 1 out of 2. HE had it roaring away back firing / labouring, sounded totally retarded (it was) opened up the distributor points for him and away it went like a rocket :P

Indeed! This is technically a Taiga, rather than a Niva. These were brought in by Dairy NZ I believe in exchange for butter with Russia haha. Roughly 300 (don\'t quote me on that) were cut down into single cab flat deck utes, with the chassis extended and leaf springs on the rear. This was road worthy and regularly used till 09, but after that, I found it lurking in the shed so thought I could have some fun. Last time I checked it only had 45,000k\'s on it too. Might be a keeper! I\'ve managed to break various parts, a CV was fun ha, but it\'s put up with a good thrashing!

This was how I managed to break it; got stuck, put in centre lock, gave it the beans, saw it doing this, thought it looked cool, till bang, haha no drive no more :L

Tightened up some clamps, found the annoying noise on boost (also why boost gauge had stopped working, inline filter broken) plumbed my boost solenoid vent into the intake pipe (3 port valve) and did some earthing under the bonnet, cleaned all existing earth points and added a few more. Bit more earthing to do, but need some bigger lugs to do it. Noticable difference in start and idle, am yet to take it for a drive though.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
