with, and without. currently antilag is switchable, but it\'s set to the autowash intercooler sprayer button. only has i/c spray with antilag on. miiiight just have to change that. LOL

launch control is wicked, really really savage, as is the antilag, and it throws some wicked fireballs.

will have to move front O2 sensor before i use more antilag, has a tendency to destroy them...

the rotational idle was shaking the house. flatmates complained. LOL more work to do on the tune, but as a base map, it\'s bloody good. nice and responsive, no knock, running the same values as my MAF tune (found a spreadsheet that\'ll convert a few of your timing / fuelling maps)

it\'s sooo much fun, but with the throttle kick it makes it ummm.... interesting to drive. have to reprogram the right foot to allow for throttle kick change.

Did a first service on my WRX since i\'ve owned it(since september) Pretty sure the lady who had it before me only put water in the radiator and also BOTH radiator fans were unplugged so whoever did the cambelt on it last obviously forgot to plug them back in. Wondered why the temp would sky rocket on a hot day :\'( However now its running all good now

Decided to go with the Penrite 10w-50 in the end. Asked a few Subaru mechanics and specialists and they said it would be all good. What do you all use?

Check out the old Air Filter though! Its like king kong farted into it

Now she is running alot nicer since the service and it is definitely MUCH better with a new air filter.

I use the same oil - seems to work fine for me - stable oil pressures even on a warm day. Might just be me, but I do notice a little more valve train noise just off idle but goes away as quickly as it starts as rpm builds; could be my stupid clutch tho - anyone else noticed anything similar with lifters? (150k engine)

Not trying to comment on consumer products or anything, but I was warned off any after market oil filters due to primary turbo \'limitations\' on the twins: any opinions?

You know that aftermarket filters are manufactured to meet or exceed OE spec right? So if you are using an equivalent filter rather than the wrong one you will have no problems unless it fails.

Castrol Edge 5W-30 for me.

I need to get around to getting my coolant flush too. No garage/driveway space to do it at the mo. =(

Another thing that is often overlooked is the cabin air filter.

If your A/C is blowing really weakly, go get this filter changed. It made a huge difference on mine, and you don\'t always have to have your settings on High

Cleaned up my IC Sprayers again... They seem to get blocked a lot, but only at the sprayer and I\'ve cleaned checked and soaked everything.... they seem fine then a couple days later boom....

Having said that, thinking of making an IC Sprayer to go across TMIC rather than out of bonnet sprayers... Anyone else done this?

Bunnings gardening section has the $5 worth of parts you will require to do this

Absolutely CORRECT. Ryco filters are designed and manufacture approved so they are definitely designed for the vehicle. I have spoken with various ryco reps and sales people...even seen a really wicked video on how they test their filters. They do exactly what they say they do. I have never had one issue with a ryco filter at all.

Yeah I know they do exceed OE spec - was more interested to hear from others whether there have been any horror stories of failure attributed to any particular brand (to steer away from). Obviously, filters are fairly low cost items and you wouldn\'t go buying crap from ebay or anything - just curious to see whether Subaru made filters flow any better than your regular Repco/Supercheap items or if you\'re essentially just paying for branding

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
