shipping for mine was about 10 days. they are really good, with postage if you buy two or three things off them they send it all in one parcel. great service.

Where from man? And what colour? Am thinking about buying some!

rallytech. I have ordered a set of red mud flaps with a white STI.

Looked at heaps of options and really wanted the sti ones.

Comes with brackets and everything.

great choice, I have some blue ones with white sti from rallytech. highly recommend them to anyone wanting mud flaps. super easy to fit and they look wicked.

did you get 3mm or 4mm thick?

can\'t remember, I think I got the 4mm ones.

bluetooth obd11 adaptor showed up. oohh yep, lets have a play....

f**k, why the hell won\'t it connect to the ecu!!??

so, turns out that JDM import subaru, pre CAN-BUS (circa 2006 on) are not actually obd11 compliant, they use SSM instead.

nz new, AUDM,USDM etc all use obd11, but not jdm.

well shit. hunt around for an SSM bluetooth adaptor. $180 ex UK, seems to be the only bluetooth SSM thingee available worldwide.

now hows that for a pain in the arse. oh well, back to the drawing board... need to convince tactrix to release a bluetooth cable and smartphone app!!!!

similiar issue with my one, wont connect to my \'05 hilux,05 landcruiser uses obd11 M i believe ( some toyota special ) also wont connect to the 2000 estima or 05-08 hiace, 08- is good, just because it has an obd11 connector dont mean it is obd11.

I do wonder if it is just software on the phone, and the adapter gets the info but the phone cannot decipher it

You could try different apps, u may find one that works ( the process I am going thru at the moment :) )

sucks man, I went through the same thing, haven\'t ended up finding anything else worth buying short of taking the punt on one of the other dongles around and having a brick if it doesn\'t work.

The obdkey seems most promising, which is probably the one you mention for $180, but still not sure whether that works as there is some guy on liberty forums who gives up even after communicating with the obdkey devs for info on how to configure for SSM: http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=15712&start=45

we are borg, let us know if you find anything, I\'ve tried torque with bluetooth and wired, it does have settings enabling SSM but I couldn\'t get it to work, but i\'ve not tried it with a tactrix, just cheap vagcom cable that works with the laptop and a cheap bluetooth elm327 dongle.

Man that explains why I can\'t get my ELM stick to work with DashCommand.

Tl;dr

Elm DOES NOT WORK for anything jap import pre canbus, so v9 and older subies are s**t out of luck.

Obdkey needs to be accessed via a laptop, and using command prompt needs settings changed to activate ssm, i have this info saved on my laptop... somewhere...

So, spend $180 for obdkey for bluetooth logging, and 280 ish for tactrix editing, pre canbus.

Or, in car pc (or tablet running windows with usb hosting)

F**king jdm goodness... sooo good, but such a pakn in the arse sometimes hahahahaa

Well, I\'m currently working on a friends car, and I\'ve just installed a new fuel rail + injectors etc. Oh also it was a conversion from side-feed to top feed.

Aeroflow Billet fuel rail kit for 2JZ

1000cc ID Injectors

Next step is to install the Bosch 500hp intank fuel-pump, replace old fuel lines and find more effective routes.

Made a center console box to fit perfectly under the dash out of alloy to mount the ethanol sensor, the 7 fuses I am left with, no more factory fuse box and to mount the ecu plus data cable for telemetry.

rewire is going well just a little to do in the cabin then very close to start up once digital dash is configured.

Its actually just a photoshop before I bought the paint, but pretty much what I want them to look like. They are achillies 123s, but only 205/40/17s, hence the tiny size. Got them and the rims for 700$, and the tires have heaps of tread on them which seemed liek a good deal. Will mean my re-11 road tyres will last another 6 months or so instead of ending them at trackday. Never driven on semis before so will be good to see how they go.

And yeah, the wheels are actually lettered so I cant cock up which goes where :P it was just the only one that isnt primered completely yet.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
